FAQ
Straight answers to common questions.
If your question isn't here, ask us directly. We'll give you an honest answer, even if it's that we're not the right fit.
What size companies do you work with?
Mostly organizations with roughly 5 to 250 employees: companies big enough that IT has become a real job, but not ready to build a full internal IT department. We also work with larger teams on specific projects.
Do you only support Microsoft environments?
Our deepest expertise is the Microsoft cloud: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure. Most growing businesses already run on it. We also support the everyday tools around it, like SaaS applications connected through single sign-on, and we coordinate with vendors for specialised systems. If your company runs primarily on another platform, we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
Can you manage our existing Microsoft 365 environment?
Yes. Most clients already have a tenant. We start by reviewing how it's configured, fix the highest-impact issues first, and then take over ongoing administration. You don't need to start over.
Can you help us move to Azure?
Yes. We plan and carry out Azure migrations, from single workloads to broader infrastructure. That starts with understanding what you run today and what it would cost and look like in Azure, including when moving isn't worth it.
Can you manage employee computers remotely?
Yes. With Microsoft Intune, company devices can be enrolled, configured, updated, secured and supported remotely, whether employees are in the office or across the country.
How do employees get help?
Employees submit requests through a client support portal or by email, and every request becomes a tracked ticket, so nothing gets lost and you can see what's open and what's been resolved. Routine requests can be triaged with AI assistance to speed things up, and a person is always available to take over. Support hours and response times are agreed in writing as part of each client agreement.
Can you help onboard new employees?
Yes, and it's one of the most valuable things we do. We build a standard process so each new hire's account, licenses, group access, device and applications are ready on their first day.
Can you automate our onboarding process?
In most cases, much of it. Account creation, license and group assignment, device provisioning with Windows Autopilot and application deployment can all be automated. We standardise the process first, then automate the parts where it's worth doing.
Can you secure remote employees?
Yes. Remote security comes down to strong identity controls (MFA and Conditional Access), managed and compliant devices, and clear rules for personal devices. We put those in place regardless of where people work.
Can you work alongside our internal IT team?
Yes. Some companies have one internal IT person who needs backup, or a team that wants help with specific areas like Intune, Entra ID, automation or a migration. We can take on as much or as little as makes sense.
Do you work with startups?
Yes. Startups are one of the main types of company we work with, especially teams where founders or engineers have been handling IT themselves.
Do we have to replace our existing technology?
Usually not. We work with what you have and recommend changes only when they solve a real problem, reduce risk or save money. We'll explain the reasoning and the cost before anything changes.
What happens during an IT review?
We have a conversation about your company, and with your permission, take a high-level look at areas like Microsoft 365 configuration, MFA, admin access, device management, onboarding and offboarding, and backups. You get a summary of what we noticed and what we'd prioritise. It's not a penetration test, formal audit or compliance certification.
Do you offer project-based work?
Yes. Alongside ongoing managed IT, we take on scoped projects such as Microsoft 365 or Azure migrations, security improvements, Intune rollouts and automation. Projects are quoted separately.
Do you offer 24/7 support?
Support hours and response expectations are agreed in writing as part of each client agreement. We don't advertise round-the-clock coverage we haven't committed to.
